Author Life With L. B. Anne

Guys, things have been so crazy. Sorry for the hiatus, but I had good reason. I released three books between November 1st and December 10th. Whew. I don't even know how I pulled it off. I don't even know what day it is anymore, but I can tell Christmas is coming because of the fifty million sales emails I receive everyday. :) I'll try to be brief, but I have so much to share. I can't help it. I missed you.

I just want to imagine us as old friends sitting down with a cup of coffee (or glass of wine), laughing, and catching up on things. Is that okay?

The Girl Who Looked Beyond the Stars, Book 1 of the Sheena Meyer series, released in November, and I couldn't be more pleased with the response to it. Thank you so much to everyone who checked it out. If you haven't yet, check it out here. If you've purchased it already, please consider leaving a review. It would mean so much to me.

The very next week, I took part in The Great American Teach-in. It's a yearly event where people from various occupations visits schools and give presentations in hopes of building interest in those careers. I attended as an author, of course. But unlike others, I attended 3 schools and gave 8-45 minute presentations (2 with first graders, 6 with middle-schoolers), all in one day. I never knew the true definition of exhaustion until that day. But you know what? It was a huge success. The kids participated, and one of them even told me it was the best presentation he had the entire day. My heart melted.

That weekend was my birthday. I didn't do anything special. How could I? I had another book releasing the next week which means preparing marketing and advertising strategies, and I had final edits to complete for another book.

I did have a birthday cake, though. There's always time for cake. Tell me the truth, do I look over 50? I sure don't feel like it. You wouldn't lie to me, would you?

Lolo and Winkle Break London, the 4th book of the Lolo and Winkle series, released the next week. If you are reading this series you know the types of hilarious shenanigans these siblings get into, even in on vacation in London. Oh, and the illustrations are from actual photos I took in London. If you haven't checked it out yet, you can, right here.

The next week was Thanksgiving, and I ran in the 5k Turkey Trot Race that morning and did great ( I have a photo, but it's horrid). I'm down to a 6 minute mile. Woot Woot! I was surprised since my diet had kind of gone out the window with all the birthday cake and everything.

Then, just yesterday (insert drum roll please), the second book of the Sheena Meyer series, The Girl Who Spoke to the Wind, released. It blessed my heart to wake up to orders for this title. I'm so excited for you guys to read this second installment. It explains so much. Not only that, there's a link in the back of the book for exclusive content that explains even more. Check it out here.

To save the people she loves, Sheena must dare to look where she’s most afraid and put her trust in angels. The mystery continues in this second installment of the Sheena Meyers series. Sheena learns her family has been hiding something from her. Something BIG.

I think we are all caught up now, dear friend. Remember, we're friends catching up with each other, right? So, I would like to know what's been going on with you too. Also, if you're not following me on social media, why aren't you? You can find me on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter at @authorlbanne .

As always, thank you for reading and for partnering with me on this journey.

Blessings,

LB
