YA BY THE BAY is a non-profit 501c3 literacy movement bringing young adult authors, students, teachers, and readers together in a dynamic two-day book festival at the stunning waterfront Convention Center in Tampa, Florida.

Strategic partnerships include local independent bookstore Oxford Exchange, the Hillsborough County Public Library Cooperative, and the Hillsborough Public School system.

This event is forged from the belief that a love of books helps build empathy, diversity, and community in the next generation, all set against the backdrop of a vibrant vacation destination.

Authors can immerse themselves in an inclusive, thriving literary community.

Students will learn directly from inspirational authors with writing workshops and discussions.

Educators get unique access to author led sessions for professional development points.
